In this webinar, our Scientific Consultants show you how to set up and perform simultaneous EEG and eye tracking measurements for lab-based studies. We will walk you through setting up your experiment and recording EEG and eye tracking data with our all-in-one amplifier, the actiCHamp Plus, and the Tobii Pro Spectrum, Tobii's most powerful eye tracker. We will address important points for you to consider when setting up your experiment to ensure a smooth integration of EEG and eye tracking data and we'll follow up with some live recordings.
The second part is dedicated to offline data analysis in BrainVision Analyzer 2.2.1. We will demonstrate how you can easily integrate your EEG and eye tracking data with the Add Channels transform. As an example of how you can benefit from combining the two modalities, we will then show you an eye tracking-informed ERP analysis.
Investigating the neural correlates of real-life activities in more ecologically valid settings is gaining a lot of interest recently within the neuroscientific research community. However, challenges remain: how can you optimize your setup to record high quality data whilst providing comfort and freedom of movement to your participants? How can you synchronize all the involved data streams now that you are out of the lab? Which analyses could give you the best insights into your data?
In the first part of this webinar we show you how to combine EEG and Eye Tracking measurement in a mobile and ecologically valid scenario, demonstrating how to prepare and optimize your setup with our super light-weight amplifier, the LiveAmp, and the Tobii Pro Glasses 3, Tobii Pro’s latest generation of wearable eye trackers. We will focus on how to properly synchronize the different data streams to be able to eventually infer meaningful insights from the recorded data.
Here in part 2 of our webinar on mobile EEG and Eye Tracking, Michael from our Scientific Support team focuses on offline data analysis in BrainVision Analyzer 2.2.1. He demonstrates how you can easily integrate your EEG and eye tracking data with the Add Channels transform, extracting information based on the integration between the two data modalities.
